Volume Knob

Here’s an awesome USB volume knob from Griffin. It’s a sexy way to control your HTPC’s volume.

Smart power strips

I talked earlier about building an energy efficient HTPC, and this powerstrip might be handy. It automatically turns off all of it’s plugs when you shut your computer down. This helps save energy since all of your peripherals aren’t draining energy when they don’t need to be on.

Remove wall warts

Continuing with the power strip theme, here is a nice way to manage those annoying wall warts. They’re tiny extension cords that move the wart off of the power strip. Plus, they have a pass-through so you can plug in twice as much. Nice!
